We have been using Land Info Net to prepare our electronic dealings
since November 2006. They are efficient and the system is easy to
use - we simply complete the A&I forms, scan and email to Land Info
who check our forms, load the dealing and email us with the dealing
number. We then sign and certify, and once settlement has taken place
we email them to have the dealing released or submitted for registration.
Although the creation of electronic registration has without doubt
created more work for us we have found the extra workload manageable
with the above system in place. The team at Land Info Net are friendly
and helpful and, above all, professional. We have not had any problems
at all and would have no hesitation in recommending them to other law
firms who are considering their options regarding the pending compulsory
electronic registration process.

I am a sole practitioner located in Central Wellington. My practice
is 80% conveyancing. When e-Dealing began I received initial training
from the Land Information NZ but I was not confident enough to try
e-Dealing on my own. I contacted LandinfoNet Ltd in response to one of
their advertisements outlining the merits of their agency services.
They set up a number of consultants in their team to assist me. They are
included as assistants on my digital certificate. The process for
instructing them is simple. I fill out one of their Client Authority
and Instruction forms with the client, add client identification, the
client signs the form and I fax it to LandinfoNet. They attend to the
setting up of the e-Dealing in my computer workspace, They let me know
by email. I check and certify. After the sale or purchase is over I
let them know by email. They do the rest.
On a purchase, I receive the
post-registration title search and supporting documents by return email.
That is the process. It is something I could now do, but I much prefer
LandinfoNet to attend to these tasks for me. They are very efficient.
Their agency fees are reasonable. There is no client resistance to their
fees.
But the main benefit for me is the security of knowing that I have
helpers "out there" who work with me, often very quickly, to set up
each transaction. I do not have to employ staff in-house to perform
these tasks. I can also ask them for advice They check my work and I
check theirs. That has to be a good thing.
I had no problems with my
first LINZ audit recently. LandinfoNet played a big part by ensuring
that I had done everything correctly.
LandinfoNet's experience and
assistance helps me a great deal. I am confident and competent with
e-Deailings now but I will not be changing to bring their agency work
in-house. They have improved my productivity and lowered my stress level.
I recommend them to you. Use them. Find out for yourself.
